The first month of the New Year is already coming to a close; can you believe it? I think my least favorite thing about adulthood is how ridiculously fast time seems to go, but *sigh* what can ya do, right?
Anyway! Welcome to the portion of the blog I affectionately refer to as ‘Feel Good Friday.’ It’s mission: to share beauty rituals, activities, hacks, and lifestyle ideas to help you decompress from the grind and set the tone for your weekend vibes. ✌️😎
Todays feel good post is all about rose water. Aside from smelling pretty heavenly, rose water offers some yummy benefits to the skin and hair. Some uses include reducing redness/puffiness, calming skin irritations (e.g. acne, sunburn, shaving, rosacea, etc.), makeup remover, toner, hair and makeup refresher, etc. To be succinct rosewater is one of nature’s beauty elixirs and the best part is: it’s affordable AF—holla!
Soffie says…read ingredient labels and approach natural skincare like you would a whole, food plant-based diet: less is more. 🙌
If the ingredient list is full of chemicals, preservatives, and fragrances, keep looking.
Rose water is the bomb diggity on its own; you want a pure formula, like this one, that isn’t diluted with crap you don’t need.
My favorite way to apply and store rosewater is in the fridge. It’s refreshing and feels luxurious against tired skin.
Try it, and I promise it’ll be one of your favorite beauty rituals and calming parts of your day.
Soffie says..divvy up the giant bottle into travel size bottles like these ones and keep one in your carry on, purse, and fridge!
Ready to relax like the queen you are? Run yourself a hot bath, add some to the mix, and enjoy. Yassss, girl , yasss! 👑
Happy Friday y’all, and remember, be kind. It’s free, feels good, and will plant the seed of good vibes for now and beyond. 💕
