Happy Wedding Wednesday! I am so excited to share a gorgeous styled shoot that connected me with some AMAZING vendors in the Southwest and East coast (creative team credits are listed below!)

Photography: Hannah Bjorndal
Styling: Aly Hunt, I Do Wedding Planning NV
Model/Invitations: Elizabeth Gillette, egletters
Floral Design: Sara Lunn, Cultivate Goods
Makeup: Soffie, Soffie Artistry, using Temptu
Hair: Lilybeth Molina
Venue: Spring Mountain Ranch

At the end of January I took a day trip to Las Vegas and it was a pretty exciting feat for me as it was my first solo trip out of state! I packed up my kit and hit the open road with my favorite jams. May sound super cheesy, but it was cool to take an adventure and hang out with myself lol. If you haven’t done it, I highly recommend it.

It’s been a while since I was last in Vegas and I almost forgot how beautiful the Bellagio is! Once I set up what I like to call my popup studio lol, I got right into it with my some of my kit staples (Temptu skin is seriously just unreal, babes. My brides are always so in love with it too!).

After Lilybeth and I completed hair and makeup, the creative team loaded up the cars and headed to the Pinterest Inspo Goals, scenic Spring Mountain Ranch. It was such a treat to watch Hannah, Ally, and Elizabeth in their elements and I couldn’t stop swooning over Sara (Cultivate Goods)’s floral design or Elizabeth’s dreamy invitations.

As wedding vendors, I think it’s easy to be so focused on serving our clients and pushing our own growth as creative pros that we sometimes become a little isolated within our niches. It is precisely for that reason that I absolutely love collaborating to styled shoots like this, because it’s a wonderful opportunity to explore other creatives’ art.

It’s the ultimate team building experience to put something like together, and it’s so rewarding when you are able to connect with others who are just as passionate and committed to an industry as you.

The pièce de résistance (the resulting images), ends up being a happy by-product of your time together.

Hope you enjoy perusing these images as much as we did creating them. 💕

xo,

soffie
